Social media accounts linked to West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin III’s office were hacked, the Democrat’s team said Thursday. Manchin’s office issued a brief statement saying the senator “was notified that social media accounts associated with his official office had been hacked.” The accounts “have since been secured,” the statement added, and Manchin and his staff are working with law enforcement to prevent further breaches and secure all their accounts.
